Ruby on Rails Internationalization

Rails is an excellent framework but till version v2.2 there wasn’t any build in internationalization support. You had to use different plug-ins in order to support internationalization. It was quite a disappointment to me.

As of v2.2 Internationalisation on is natively supported by framework. Today I wanted to give it a try and see what are the possibilities with in the framework for building a multi-language website.

I followed this simple direct to the point tutorial. If you want to dive in to deep you can check the Rails Internationalization (I18n) API.
